An iconic lake in Yufuin, where hot spring water and clear spring water emerge from the lakebed. In winter or early morning, mist rises from the surface, creating a magical scene. Its name comes from the golden appearance of the lake’s surface at sunset.

The interior is based on the theme of "Taisho Romanticism," and is decorated in a Taisho-era Japanese-Western fusion style, creating a comfortable space that blends nostalgia with modernity.
